Wedding in Arlesheim, Switzerland We were married in the Arlesheim Cathedral near Basel, Switzerland on April 24, 1999. The whole day seems like one blissful blur to us, but we do remember the important parts: saying "yes" to each other and then kissing. To reflect our international backgrounds (and to spare us the chaos of trying to organize a wedding on a different continent), we decided to invite all our family and friends to Switzerland. As a result, our wedding ceremonyincluded guests from all corners of the world: Japan, Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United States. Everything, from the decorative flowers to the guest transportation to the church ceremony to the dinner music, was organized by Nina and her humble helper, Kevin.
